Editorial of October 2009

Dear Well Wishers,

Much delighted to be among you through this ninth issue of Shantham. Hope you are enjoying the contents. Pl spread the message about this magazine, so that more can benefit.

I had been to my native place Kalakad for the free programme done by the trust on Dare The Future for 12th std students. Since we want to restrict the number to max 50 per batch, we had to filter the students. Students scoring above 1000/1200 in the quarterly exam were selected for participation. The response was overwhelming. I enjoyed their participation. Best participating teams were awarded with prizes sponsored by the trust. A competition was conducted for all the participants on Personal Mission Statement and the best two entries will be selected for awarding. I thank Success club Kalakad and Bakthar Peravai, Kalakad for the nice arrangements made for the programme. A soul satisfaction by the small contribution to my native village. A brief report along with the press coverage is given separately.

Since we are getting more number of contributions from so many well wishers, I feel we can recognise them at the contributions published with courtesy to them. We request many more contributions.
