Dear Well Wishers,
We got a request from a poor family, for helping a mentally retarded boy, studying in Andhra Mahila Sabha ,Adayar The monthly hostel expenses come to around Rs 1250 ( Rupees one thousand two hundred and fifty only) and the trust has agreed for the sponsorship of that expenses on a permanent basis. I thank Mr.Kumar, from Dubai( my first son-in-law) for his whole-heartedness for the sponsorship.
One more help, we have done during this month, was the donation of Rs 30000 (Rupees thirty thousands only) for a poor boy who lost his left eye during Diwali with a cracker and who had to undergo a major surgery at Trichi St. Joseph Eye Hospital. I sincerely thank all those who have contributed for the noble cause in response to our appeal, the more so, Mr. Krishnasubramanian of Mumbai and his family who alone contributed Rs 20000. Dr. Selvaraj from Madurai, our well wisher arranged for referring the boy for free treatment at Sankar Netralaya, Chennai, through Mr.Subburaj, Secretary, Ministry of Health, Tamil Nadu Government. They also confirmed on the loss of vision and stated nothing can be done for the restoration of vision. Artificial eye has to be implanted soon, for which we are making arrangements. We profusely thank all for the generous contribution.
