Happy to talk to you thru this fifth issue of Shantham. Hope you are enjoying the magazine.

India, the biggest democracy has got a stable Government after a long time. Let us hope for the best in the coming years. I was happy that I escaped the Kathiri (Agni Nakshatram, the worst summer). But it wont. Sun God is doing overtime even after HIS regular time this year. We feel the pinch of severe heat even in this June.

I thank Mr. Paramasivan from Singapore and Mr.P.K. Venkatraman and Mr. K. Thyagarajan for their contribution of articles for this issue of Shantham.

We have started a new regular feature by name Sugarless Coffee from this issue, penned by me. Pl offer your comments.
