Dear Well Wishers,

Much delighted to be among you through this twelfth issue of Shantham. Hope you are enjoying the contents. We have created a gmail id exclusively for feedback about Shantham and configured the same to work with the common feedback form put up in the exclusive page via the link Feedback in the main menu and the individual feedback forms attached to individual articles for your convenience. Kindly post your feedback through these feedback forms.

With all your good wishes and generosity, we have got Rs. 40000 so far for the eye operation of K.Ganesan, who lost one of his eyes during Diwali. We had paid Rs 30000 immediately for the operation. The rest we have paid subsequently, for his post operative expenses and for the part of the incidental expenses during the second operation, in which the artificial eye has been transplanted on 11th of this month.The boy has to be done with one more operation, if necessary. The expenses for the 11th operation have been borne by Kanchi Mutt and it was done at SankaraNetralaya, Chennai. We have been trying our best to provide a permanent livelihood for the family. We feel that we should teach one to fish instead of giving fish which will help on a long term basis. We request our members to go thru the appeal for help, published in our magazine.
