Editorial of July 2010

Dear Well Wishers,

Much delighted to be among you through this sixteenth issue of Shantham. Hope you are enjoying the contents. June was the month of donations for the trust. We have donated four cots made of tapes to an old age home in Old Pallavaram. The following amounts were donated to the deserving students for pursuing higher education:-

1. Rs 7000 to a boy pursuing II year BE
2. Rs 10000 to another boy pursuing II Year BE
3. Rs 2000 to a poor muslim girl, whose father lost his job and could not pay her tuition fees
4. Rs 5000 for a boy continuing his primary education

Some more requests are in pipe line on which we are checking the sources and their credibility.

We profusely thank Mr. Krishna Subramanian, native of our village, now in Mumbai who has contributed Rs 45000. We would fulfil his direction that this amount will be utilised only for educational purposes.

We have started a new feature, sharing some of my experiences, from this issue.

Many are enquiring more on the magazine. Pl spread the message around, so that benefit can reach the masses.
